As a pianist and composer, Jeremy Woolhouse is renown for lyrical melodies and elegant use of harmony.   He has been acclaimed for performance and recordings in duo with bassist Shannon Birchall, in trio with Woolhouse - Michailidis - Robertson and for the evocative solo album The Persistence of Dreaming

A leaning towards the European jazz aesthetic and influences form classical, latin and world music lend Jeremy’s music a distinctively gentle and relaxed flavour.  Jeremy is involved in projects with outstanding local artists including Silverbeat; a vibrant quartet featuring vocalist Jacqueline Gawler and multi-instrumentalist Lachlan Davidson.
